Aimee Barrows has been with Shaw Media since Nov. 2018 as editor of the Kane County Chronicle before moving to entertainment editor at The Scene. Prior to that, she freelanced for several Shaw Media publications for four years. Aimee also has nearly 20 years of experience teaching journalism and media at Northern Illinois University. She is a native of Homewood, Ill., and holds a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Indiana University Bloomington. A proud Hoosier alum, Aimee loves IU football and basketball. She is the mother of two boys and one girl.
